** Incredible Breaking Story **

An amazing thing happened today.

A bit of backstory – Some 18 years ago, a young fella called Dean Smith Dancing Bear appeared live on Good Morning Australia which was hosted by Bert Newton. He did a chainsaw demonstration and carving of Bert Newton himself. Watch the video below.

The art piece went missing over the years and no one knew where it was until today.

Two mates wrote to Dean to let him know it was for sale on Facebook Marketplace. We quickly contacted them and on Friday morning this week, the Bert Newton art piece is coming home to Dean. GMA didn’t want the piece and asked one of the team to get rid of it. So, he wrapped it in plastic and stored in a mate’s factory all these years. As the factory could no longer store it, the current caretaker of the art decided to sell it.

The rest is now history, and the caretaker has decided to give back to Dean who is forever grateful.
