The Festival
Mecha is a new and unique arts festival showcasing the best of robotic and mechanical sculpture, performance art, sound, and video art – a home for hybrid and experimental artforms.
Mecha is a small pilot festival – with the view to becoming an annual event. The works on show will be experimental, weird, beautiful and captivating. Sitting somewhere between the traditional worlds of galleries, theatres, and festivals, these forms will be presented together as a unique grouping not often seen in Australia’s arts landscape.
Embracing diversity and inclusivity, we invite everyone from all walks of life to come and experience, interact, and play in an abstract, absurd and surreal world together with us.
